Amazon Luna Review - App Software Download Free Android
application software download free Android
Amazon Luna is the latest entrant in the cloud gaming space. The service streams games from remote servers to your device, allowing you to play without a high-end gaming PC or console. It's available via a web app on a desktop or laptop and in the Safari or Chrome browser on an iPhone or iPad, as well as a dedicated app for Fire TV and compatible Samsung smart TVs running Tizen 6.0.
The service comes in a few different subscription plans called channels, each offering a different selection of games. It also offers a Ubisoft channel in collaboration with the publisher that includes games from its portfolio.
In my tests, the games ran fairly smoothly and there was minimal latency — although your mileage may vary based on your home network and the hardware you're using. I did encounter a couple of hiccups that were significant enough to interrupt gameplay, though. For example, a game's audio was choppy in places and the graphics on my LG Gram 17 laptop occasionally dropped below 1080p at 60 frames per second.
If you're a frequent gamer, you might want to consider the options that are available for buying or renting games, which can give you better control over your gaming budget. And even if you're not, you might want to try out Amazon Luna for the range of titles and convenience it provides. Just keep in mind that the service doesn't offer you a large library of games outright like Google Stadia and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and that you'll be at the mercy of Amazon when it comes to which games are added and rotated into or removed from its catalogue.
